Computer Experts! Please Help!

Mods please don't move this, as I think it is definitely germane to anabolics, in that anyone who uses the internet to order gear might benefit from inforation that could come from this thread.

so, anyways... I've been using my girlfriend's laptop lately to get on EF. Unbeknownst to me, it is actually her father's company laptop. Well, she says she told me this, but I probably wasn't listening. Now the time has come for him to take his laptop back to his company since she just got a new computer. I went to go clear the history and delete the cookies and it said something to the effect of "your settings won't allow this - contact your system administrator for help" Now I am worried that they did this so they could monitor what sites their laptops are being used to go to. I deleted all the cookies from the "temporary internet files", but elitefitness.com, redlight.com, and cumfiesta.com are all in the history bar...what the fuck should I do? Is there a program that can erase where I have been? I am a little scared right now that her dad is going to take the computer back to his work and they're gonna fire him, thinking he is a porn-addicted, steroid user like me. Any help you could give me would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

download a free cleaner of off Kazza window washer or a free cleaner download.
I don't know why you can't delete files?
unless its some stetting he or his company have to the computer.


Are you right-clicking on tools/Internet options/delete history, cookies and temp files?

or maybe smash it to pieces.

The reason you cant delete files is because he probably doesnt have administrative rights to do so.

Like said above try to download a cleaner. Depending on the permissions on the account you may not even be able to install software.

solution

if the computer has a disk drive
put a windows startup disk in, restart computer

then in the command prompt type
cd c:
format c:

that should clear up the problem and when the laptop comes back not working they will just give it to a tech to reinstall and ur safe

The laptop probably uses winnt based OS on NTFS so that's not an option...

Go online

There is a piece of software call Lophtcrack. Or you can do a search on crackz or warez. There are programs that will allow you to change the admin password. Thus allowing you to log in as ADMIN and do the "cleaning". You may find it on LC3. Just pick the OS you are running and see if you can this loaded. Sometimes, your settings will not allow new programs to be installed. There are "Cheats" for this also. Spend some time on Warez and Hackz sites. Sorry I have not done that stuff in a while. And I just cleaned all that stuff off my computer. But trust me it is easy to find.

P.S. These programs will give you the user names for the computer - so if they changed administrator account to another name you will be able to find it. Then change the password and boom baby you are in control.

Yeah, just tell them the thing got a virus, the laptop crashed and your had to do a complete re-install of the OS.

Boot up the thing from a Windows start-up disk and format the fucker and re-install Windows
