Computer (browser) problem

I think its the browser.

First off, I cant click and open stuff in new windows. When I click on the smilies beside this reply box, they dont pop up in this window. When I click on links, if they dont open in the same window then they wont open at all.

Also, if I try to Cut-Copy-Paste the link, I can right click and get the menu up, and most of the time the Copy is bold so I can release on it, but then when I right click to paste it, none of those options are bold.

Is this a browser problem or something else? My mouse funtions work fine in programs and and applications but not online.

i can't help you with your technical computer problems, but i CAN confirm that roy williams will never be able to bring home the big one while he's the head cheese....

You are probably running some sort of pop-up blocker. They suck because they don't differentiate between advertisements and pop-ups that you want to see. What service do you use? I know AOL and Earthlink have that crap enabled.

This also sometimes happens when your cache is "full" (IE should clean it out and this shouldn't matter, but for whatever reasons, I've had similar issues due to this).

Try going to Tools > Internet Options > Delete Temporary Internet Files.
Then go to File > Exit (just clicking the "X" to close will still leave instances running in memory, but File > Exit will close it all out.

Then start up IE again and try out what you are trying to do.

If all else fails, try restarting.
If that doesn't work, suicide is the only way out.

It's probably MSBlast - the same happened to me when I had it (win 2000).
