Comps suck

i swear i have the worst experiences with computers.
my comp was getting .dll errors so it didn't wanna start, so that pissed me off. I reinstalled windows and that didn't help, same problem. Spent the whole damn night at my friends backing up 30+ gigs of mp3s and important files for school. Then left it there the whole night formatting. Going to try to reinstall it all in a bit. DEATH! :(

Hi,

What Operating System was it? Are you going to upgrade the OS? Tell me what the problems is, I may be able to help. Good luck!

He wants to resolve his problems, not make them worse.

I convinced my boss to upgrade our agents' computers to PCs. We have consistent printing/networking problems even when the "mac specialist" charges us an ungodly amount of money to come take a look. That, and they're slow as fuck. 2ghz Dells for $600 w/monitor should do the trick.

Are you attaching Ghz to relative speed? Try doing floating points on a PC in a reasonable amount of time :)

Try buying software for a Mac that hasn't been around for the PC for a year already and runs just as well.

It's always the same story in the office.

Step 1) Find a piece of software that will be helpful for us.
Step 2) Damn, it only runs on PC.
Step 3) Load VirtualPC.
Step 4) Slow system to a crashing halt.
Step 5) Ditch useful piece of software.

I can't think of a practical application in which a Mac is superior to a PC. Please enlighten me.

Finally back up running.

I changed the wiring in my comp and i guess my HD was rejecting the new IDE cables (wish i knew why)... that's okay, i just reformatted and its all good now. It was about time i did it to... i had about 10000 things installed.

Congrats bro........

I wig out when my computer stops functioning. (And yes....it's usually do to me trying to tweak it.)
