OK, here's what I came up with to take with me for my comp. If anyone thinks of anything to add, please do!!

Check federation website for show venue/hotel & possible group code discount. Make sure you book hotel room by cutoff date.

Mail/pay entry fees by required deadline if necessary......

Mail/pay Federation membership fees in plenty of time......

**Note: some Federations/contests do NOT allow walk ins the day of the show. Make sure you know this in advance.
 
Also, if traveling, get a trustworthy person to watch your house, bring in mail, water plants, take care of pets.......
 
OMG I can't believe we forgot the most important thing, that should never be forgotten when going to a show......

Whatever you like and miss having, you should feel like it's your reward for working so hard after all of these months :)

Something that you really enjoy, for me it's hershey kisses I always have a bag for after the show and let me tell you, I feel like I'm in heaven when I put the 1st 1 in my mouth. lol.

Hmm the ice cream could be quite dangerous... remember you haven't had dairy in awhile.

I also don't know how you'll be able to bring ice crea to the show with you. :worried:

I think it would melt by the time you'll be ready to eat it. :lmao:

Well, they've GOT to have a 7-11 nearby......I would ass-ume.....

Yeah - melted ice cream would be yucky!! :worried:

For one the Bikini Bite doens't hold worth crap and the other spray adhesive.. which I've used (regular fabric adhesive) which holds really Great! but its sticky and its messy and well.. if both suits aren't exactly alike you are in trouble. It will remove the protan and possibly a layer of skin off of you... LOL

BUT it works like a charm

When I was backstage at a friends show they all had resistance bands.

They would work each muscle with the band before getting on stage.

Don't know if that's something you'll need or not.

On another note - way to be prepared!!!

I did buy a set of the bands for myself.....And I'll make sure I write my name on them with a Sharpie....
 
I have a book here that has a checklist.....here are som things you may want:

-hair spray
-spray deodorant
-walkman
-camera for backstage
-glue for heels (ya never know)
-chap stick - lips will get dry from all that smiling!
-scissors
-nail glue
-extra protan & brush
 
Actually another thing you can do for shoes if they are loose is cut the toe & heel off a pair of nylons and use the one part around the arch of your foot & the shoe to make sure it stays on.
 
You wear glasses right Jenn?

How about extra contacts, eye drops

eye make-up remover incase it smudges (or you cry - happy tears ofcourse)

Yep - I've got a brand new razor I'm taking with me. Once I get (hope I get them soon!) my new box of contacts - I'll bring them & I have saline & stuff.
