hey guys, im interested in competing in the near future and was wondering which organizations are non-test or NOT-Natural. i heard NPC is non-tested but im not sure.

thanks

Npc is your best bet on an amature level. Check npc news . Co
or rxmuscle .com and pick a local show.

Best of luck to ya. Socal

I have competed in NPC natural show and other orginizations that are geared towards the natural athletes. The NPC natural shows are a joke as are the musclemania shows--no real testing. Of the natural orginizations the ABA and the NGA are the best and the ABA being the best of those 2. Of the non-tested shows I would only go with the NPC. I just helped a buddy get ready for his first show(he won the middlewt and overall) and the only thing that bothered me about the show was how fast they went through the mandatories--I mean each pose was held for less than 5 seconds. Even with that it is better than going with a smaller show and placing first out of 2. Just have fun with whatever show you do and don't go into it thinking you are going to be the next big thing--pull an Uncle Rico and think that as soon as you get your pro card you will be sitting in a hot tub with beautiful women :) Not that it couldn't happen--just have a backup plan! Good luck and have fun!

NPC, IFBB and pretty much all the small orgs don't test; only the "natural" ones test.

I like how you put the natural in quotes--that was the most frustrating thing for me when I was competiting as a natural--there really isn't a way to insure the guys are natural--I mean if they have people passing the tests at the olympics--and A LOT of them are on AAS--how is a guy promoting a local show supposed to do it? I still did well I just often wonder how many of the guys I competed against were on.

npc, socialmuscle got it right. rxmuscle has a cool npc show forum. just got started over there.

Off the top of my head, I know of 3 "natural" competitors who are regular users of HGH, IGF-1, insulin and a boatload of oral steroids (winstrol, anavar and so on). I don't believe there are shows were 100% of the competitors are really natural, and, to be fair, is taking a ton of creatine, protein and god knows what else is natural; not really. :)

Thats true but thats really not fair in my opinion. if you use drugs, compete with others that use drugs. if you dont use drugs, compete in either one. its not fair for the naturals to compete against people who arent natural.

i dont plan on ever being a pro bodybuilder, i dont have the right genetics, but since im working out 6 days a week and have changed my whole eating lifestyle, i might as well use it for something. NPC it is!!!!!!

I know that is why I enjoyed being clean back then and still beating the guys that were on--but those were younger years :( after about 33 it started getting more difficult to gain and even harder to get really lean without losing muscle mass--it was fun while it lasted though--good thing is after 15 years of training clean, even small amounts of AAS make a huge difference--sorry man didn't mean to hijack your thread.
