comparing vitargo vs dextrose as a carbohydrate

I'm looking for something to mix with my creatine that will help it but I'm undecided on which one of these two supplements is better to deliver creatine to your muscle tissue after workout, I just want to mix my creatine with either dextrose I can get cheap or Vitargo which cost more. Is ther a clear cost benefit ration here for this purpose?

Vitargo is a much better option. Dextrose is glucose. It is pure sugar. Vitargo on the other hand is a sugar free high molecular weight carbohydrate. High molecular weight carbohydrates have a shuttling effect. They help shuttle whatever you take with it into muscle cells.

Look into waxy maize. It is a high molecular weight carbohydrate just like Vitargo but it is a bit cheaper. Both are good options.

Waxy maize is a good choice as muskate said. But for shuttling creatine, I do not think it will matter too much given you are not on insulin

Unless you are a competitor who uses insulin, I see no point in using any of these with your creatine, and I really doubt that you will notice much a difference with them. Therefore, it is best to avoid those additional carbs, and just take creatine as such.

I am with Steve. A meal after training is all you need. You can honestly dose your creatine whenever you want and don't need carbs with it. I do usually take it around training times but just with water.
