comp specs for bench

does anyone know the competition specs for a bench? Im looking to either make my own or compare the comp specs to benches in stores.I hate when a bench is to far off the ground and you cant get good leg drive.

This is one of those pieces of information that's a bitch to find.

APF comp spec, according to Dave Tate, is 17" high, 12.5" wide.

I'd like to get NY Barbells to customize one for us, but haven't gotten around to calling them to see if they can do it.

depends on the FEd, seems like I have heard of one that is only 15" high. Figure out what fed you will be lifting in and then email one of the heads, best to know what to train on so there wont be any surprises come meet day
