Coming off the sauce how do I train now ?

Muscle Overkill

Plat Hero
Platinum
I have been off the juice for a couple weeks and want to know what type of workout to do ? I have kept my intensity up but decreased my volume slighlty. I think a lot of people make the mistake of trying to train harder ( like thats gonna make up for being off lol I wish ) when in fact you need to back off a little bit because your body's inability to recover. Does anyone have any hard facts ?

increase you food intake, do igf lr3 during pct

and or change your routine, get plenty of rest..

good luck

I am taking IGF along with BCAA, and Cotisol Blockers, Natural test boosters,Clomid, Nolva,HCG you name it, and i am taking it, but so far so good.

I came off for 8 weeks got even leaner and more muscular 8 weeks out.. clomid 100mg a day for 2 weeks then 50mg a day for 2 weeks along with arimdex at .5 mg a day . did not lose one pound of muscle monitored it with the fat calipers at the gym. The key is alot of flax seed oil and olive oil to keep the calories high along with prob 400grams of protien being that your 245lbs at 12% bf .
Btw do you have any pictures post cycle Id love to see what kinda transformation you made and how you look now then before the cycle.

btw you really have to post what your work out was before so we can try to see what kind of workouts you need to do now

Your training should not really change that much, you mix up your routines every 6 weeks or so, now you will be doing the same, you will maybe drop some strength but not necessarily, and your intensity should still be maxed.

The basics are not going to change at all, you just will not see the increase in strength, size and you will miss the pumps. Try some Amplify 02, pumps are decent on that

My training stays the same except w/ slightly less weight. Intensity, sets and reps are all the same.

You want, primarily, to be promoting anabolism and minimizing catabolism and your body needs to know that it still needs this excess muscle. Do no more than 3 days EW in the gym and don't take anything to high-rep failure. Push heavy weight for low reps on compound exercises. Drop most of the pec dec and cable-crossover isolation nonsense.

Train like a fat, lazy powerlifter: lift heavy and go home. Remember to keep eating high: there's nothing else as anabolic as food.

I don't necessarily pick training routines based on being "on" or "off", though, sometimes I may reserve a particularly demanding routine for while being on... However, it's good to change your routine periodically regardless of AAS, to constantly keep the muscles in shock, therefore they're constantly growing. I do however reserve certain supplements for my off periods, such as Purecee, Test boosters, IGF, etc.

Agreed, don't train particularly differently on or off, except to make benefit of the fact that you can recover faster while on; always strive to make progress.

For the period of PCT, though, you need to minimize catabolism.

Keep training intensity the same as while on but DROP the volume. You could also switch to an upper body 5x5 of one type of chest press (incline or flat, barbell or dumbell) and one pull movement (barbell or dumbell rows or deads), and your other days would be just squats and shoulder presses. If this is not something you're into, just keep your total sets per session at no more than 12. No more than 35-45 minutes long per session either, and dpending on your body type, no cardio. If you aren't a hard gainer/ecto, you can still do some light cardio through PCT provided you're supplementing with BCAA's glutamine, and a dialed in diet.
