Hey all,

what is the source of choice for retail space in the DC Metro/NOVO area?
Need some real numbers, anybody have a realestate type they love? Am I scanning the Post?

the ball is rolling!

Stay out of China Town. JOHNNY WANG TAKE YOU DOWN!!!

I will, just pulling all the shades open, Manor Lord.

actually almost everything is pricey in the metro area region....even Chinatown is up and coming and hard to touch...prices are so sky high everywhere...DC, Arlington, Tysons Corner, Reston, Loudoun...even further you go from the city, its high $$$$...

good place retail(restaurant) i'd look into Arlington (Clarendon, Rosslyn if you want to be stone's throw from the city) city probably a headache to do business downtown...

retail footage to work footage ratio is EXCELLENT so for a flagship unit, it's Location, location, location. Dependent on buiz foot traffic, too, so those Falls Church, Tysons (!!), DC office concentration points are a must.

foot traffic isnt' all that huge in tysons, unless you're talkina bout the mall areas (Tysons 1 or Tysons 2).

Foot traffic in VA cannot be beat when it comes to Old Town Alexandria or the Ballston/Clarendon area.

In DC I'm sure your options are greater, although I'm not sure if there is more hassle with permits and licenses in DC as compared to VA.

Then you want Metro stations.

More 'lunch time take to office' concept. Some eat in, but no table service. Walking delivery to office spaces as well.
