coke zero

i was looking on the label of coke zero and saw that in a 375ml can it has 1.1 calories. obviously water what you should be consuming most of, but my question is if coke zero or pepsi max etc has 1.1 calorie in 375ml how good/bad is it actually for you?

its not just the amount of calories in it. yeah, it is virtually sugar free, but all the other preservatives and chemical flavour enhancers in it, especially aspartame are not good for you if you drink it all the time. also im not sure if coke zero contains phenylalanine, it is in most carbonated drinks and not good for you at all. whats wrong with good ol fashioned water lol?

thanks. i will read up on aspartame and phenylalaline. too true about water it is old faithful. coke zero does contain phenylalanine i just checked

as with anything, you can drink it, but not all the time. one or two cans a week wont hurt you, but 3 or 4 a day is not good for you at all.

Save them for regular when your cutting.
Id be like 2 a day if I got desperate, I cant control my sugar cravings.

Or my cravings for *the West*

Sometimes if you are keto all the artificial sweeteners can take you out of ketosis.

But other then that; when dieting it is nice to have some extra bubbles to help fill you up.

Oh and pop will rot your teeth and bones if you drink it too often.

i suspect the aspartame scare is overblown and of dubious nature....
