Im getting ready to start a cycle and was wondering if coffee will effect me in any way. I drink about a pot a day. I heard it does something to your insulin level, is this correct?

That's sounds like a little much coffee. Just have a couple of cups in the morning
.......never been in new orleans or seattle have you? :D

a good caffine buzz gets me into the gym and keeps me at my dull ass job.

I dont understand how people can drink so much coffee. I have a guy that works with me that drinks about 4 pots a day, doesnt eat, eats tums all day with coffee. I can only handle about 2 or 3 cups in the morning and thats all I can handle. It just dont taste all that good after too many. But when I start my cycle on sat, I am stopping coffeee all together.

Me too, well maybe a cup in the morn but black, no cream or sugar cause I need to stick to my diet! It will probably taste so nasty i wont want to drink it!

First of all, I have seen studies where subjects drank equivalent amounts of water and coffee and their urine production was the same.

Second of all, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with insulin, but I have read that coffee lowers blood sugar levels, which is why it is often traditionally accompanied with sweets/pastries/etc.

Third of all, I have noticed I can work much harder if I have a cup of strong coffee before I go to the gym. But I try not to so it unless I really need it, so I do it infrequently. I have seen no evidence that caffeine actually makes you stronger but I have seen evidence that it reduces the perception of fatigue so it might mentally helpo you get more weight for more reps.
