Coffee drinkers out there?

I drink about 1-2 20 oz. Starbucks black coffees before working out now and it seems like I have a hell of a lot more energy at the gym. I don't seem to crash at all either later in the day. Is this alright? Who else drinks an "excessive" amount? lol

Coffee's great to use before a workout, but you'll probably find you'll get diminishing returns if you use it too much.

I'll get a redeye those mornings when I'm feeling extra achey and sore. I'm not sure why, but it really does the trick for those nagging pains you younger guys probably don't feel yet.

I'm starting to chill w/Caffeine products due to bone loss from calcium excretion
the extra energy doesn't seem worth it

I've cut way back on what I used to drink, I used to drink it like it was water for the first few hours of the day now I maybe drink a cup or a little more at work and none on the weekend.

Any amount of caffeine can cause bone loss.
The loss of bone is most pronounced in spinal vertebrae

So I stopped drinking coffe , tea , yerba mate, and carbinated drinks of any kind (years ago)
I try to do non stimulant fat burners, but may do short cycles of amp02

It's up to you to put the calcium back into your diet either from milk or calcium supplements or both.
Note that coffee and tea may contain other substances which may affect the rate of calcium excretion
