Coffee and Insulin sensitivity

JG1

New member
I've read that coffee has a bad effect on your insulin sensitivity. Is this a temporay effect, or does it last a while? I drink a lot of coffee threwout the day (black with 2 splenda), and I'm dieting and don't want to fuck with my fat loss. Should coffee only be avoided close to carb meals, and would it be ok to drink threwout the day when no carbs are being consumed? Or should I drop it all together?

is there a final verdict on coffees effect on ketosis? or splenda's? Is iced tea a safe alternative to keep me in ketosis?

JG1, didn't you read the big debate we had about 3 weeks back about it, me and another gentelman. Search for it, I can't remember the post, but the final verdict that I said was that it really does not, the effect is very small. It's there, but it's not to worry about.

or splenda's?
depending on the person, it really should not
Is iced tea a safe alternative to keep me in ketosis?
