cod liver oil capsules?

I am in the UK so ordering flax oil from mass quantities is out (I don't trust the airmail not to damage the oil in transit).

Anyway, holland and barrett are selling cod liver oil with evening primrose capsules - i know people say with flax oil, capsules are a waste of space. Same deal with these? cod liver oil tastes yucky!

Why don't you take fish oil ?

It is even better than flax seed oil and you would find it in the UK

I *HIGHLY* suggest buying deodorized fish oil / cod liver oil capsules.

I can taste dead fish for hours after taking just one non-deodorized capsule of fish oil.

I think Kilosports has it, and I'm sure other places do, too.

I had posted a query regarding cod liver oil some time and this is a good reply i got from PWB :

They are very similar, cod liver oil has less EPA and DHA than the Fish oil.

Fish Oil
EPA 180mg
DHA 120mg

Cod Liver Oil
EPA 110mg
DHA 100mg

Both are great but if you recieve a lot of sun exposure don't overdo the Cod Liver Oil b/c it has a lot of Vit. D, which you also get from the sun and a combination of both can cause Vit. D toxicity.

hemp oil is the perfect blend of omega 3s, 6s and 9s

but it may be a little difficult to find it in Europe (it can't be sold for cooking but only for painting and for the wood)

If I take more than 1 fish oil capsule a day... my breath would smell like fish the whole friggin day. It's unbelievable the smell of dead fish, feels like it's lurking in the back of your throat the whole day.

I stick to flax, I know it doesn't have EPA or DHA, but it's rich in Omega 3.
