Cocaine and muscle loss

Okay, so we all know that some pro bodybuilders and amateurs use coke to cut up and for recreational use. Well, my group of friends all love to use it once in awhile, but was wondering if any knew of it directly effecting muscle loss I were to eat protein throughout the duration of use.

My thought was that it just speeds up your metabolism by means of increasing your heartrate, similiar to excessive ECA or Clen which does not burn muscle. But if you eat throughout the time you do it, then shouldnt that blunt the muscle loss effect? I would think the amount of burn would be similiar to a little T3 or DNP. Thoughts????

And yea, I CAN eat while high.
 
to some extent you are right, but coke is toxic to the CNS...thats the bad thing, you will lose strength and muscle if you use regularly, no way around it
 
Call me crazy but I think coke eats away your muscle and keeps your fat. Also takes away your muscle fullness. It has its place in the recreational scene, but for bodybuilding purposes it is just plain stupid.
 
Thanks for the replies bros. I know it effect your CNS system which is a big no no, but I dont use regularly, only 2 times out of the month, if that. I still get paranoid even though I dont use regularly, but one could never be so sure.
 
i think as long as you keep it in perspective, you'll be ok. once you are doing 3 eightballs a night then your talking damage.
 
ephedrine and ECA will 'eat' muscle as well as coke. Everywonder why cokehead or speed freaks are skinny as hell but soft as a muffin? Loss of muscle comes first, body fat second. There is a product out now called SUPER PHOSPHATIDYSLERINE by ProSource that has been shown to reduce the levels of cortisol in your blood for what ever reason. Independent studies have shown that this product works. If you can't find it let me know.
 
Valium effectively drops your cortisol levels but I'm not so sure an upper/downer combo like that is too good for ya.
 
I don't know that pro bodybuilders use coke to cut with, maybe for rec purposes

I am pretty sure most cokeheads or crackheads started out as rec users though

after all nobody says I want to grow up to be a drug addict, right?
 
Cocaine will not get you cut. It is catabolic and will break down your muscle before your fat. This is a stupid idea. You will not eat and slow your metabolism down significantly. You will rebound quickly. Coke is for junkies.

Isnt ephedrine anti-catabolic?
 
Here's what I do to stay full and hold off weight/muscle loss while skiing: Gatorade and Glutamine (capsules). Eating while geeked is damn near impossible. WARNING: Don't drink alcohol w/ coke!!

Coke will burn muscle for a few reasons. First, it does increase your metabolism to a very high level, causing you to burn muscle. Secondly, you probably won't be able to eat and your body will then take nutrients from muscle, and get it's energy from there before it even starts to attack fat. lastly, coke dehydrates you. Dehydration is extremely catabolic.

There are reasons why certain drugs are used by bodybuilders, and some never made it (like fenfen). Most things just decrease muscle size and bone density.
 
How about 'Just say no?' Get high on Jesus or personal achievement or something other than coke. Limit drug use to the performance enhancing variety.

Hey take it from a guy who use to have coke issues.. Twice a month will start to go down hill for you...

This has nothing to do with you starting to do more than a gram twice a month it has to do with your body slowing getting weaker from coke use.. After a year of twice a month you will start to react diffent to the coke then before.. It will take you 2 days to recover from 1 night out..
And muscle growth will completely stop.. Anywork you did prior or a few days after will be ineffecitive...then you start to feel just plan tired between working out and work and drugs your body will suffer..
It also has to do with how much you take in, if your just talking a line or 2 you'll be fine, but I dont no anyone who has been able to do 1 line and not want to finish the damn bag off...
But dont get me wrong coke ios some good shit..lol,, i sure loved it for a long ass time... thank god I past those days...

Almost forgot as a side note, me and my friends used to do coke on a Friday night to have my abs ripped for Saturday at the beach..It works because it dehydrates you and when your on coke you dont eat...
 
if you do coke for something other than a "party drug" -- you got problems. same with weed imho (to a lesser extent).

cigarettes will NEVER touch my lips as long as i live. that shit is nasty and does NOTHING.

wut positive effects could weed have on building muscle or fat burning ? i rarely smoke now because of how it always made me hella hungry and fucks up my diet
