coach/personal trainer

I'm looking for a coach or personal trainer. Unfortunately, I really can't pay anything. I need to find out more about what works for me and my body. I've been lifting off and on for a few years and have been seriously into the bodybuilding for two years. I have made gains, but feel I can make faster gains with the proper advice. I'm very interested in learning more about what techniques will work best for me. Anybody interested in helping out?

kd - no one will train you for free. No one here will hold your hand and take the time to write out a diet and workout for you. You need to take the time and do your own reasearch, mentally and in the gym.

There's a ton of information available on this stuff. But ultimately, no trainer in the world can tell you what works best for you. Getting in shape is probably 75% trial and error. You'll find 100 different diets, 100 different workouts on this board alone. I suggest you read as much as you can, learn as much as you can. Take what you learn to the gym and to the kitchen and see how it goes.

This board is a great source for information on specific questions. Most are happy to help you out on stuff like form, how much cardio, the best supplements, that kind of thing. If, as you say, you've been serious for a couple years, then you already know quite a bit. So build on what you know, keep your eyes open, and read, read, read.

Thanks

Thanks for the post!! You are right. It takes a LOT of time and effort. I will keep working at it and learn as much as I can. There definitely are NO shortcuts, that's for sure!

I'll be around and posting and reading more!
