Grip strength is my real weakness, but I did manage to close the #2 on my second try (right handed, left is 1/8" from closed). I am hoping to start up my grip training on a regular basis and close the #3 before years end.
I never thought they'd be as tough as they are, but I can tell that I am getting a great workout from them. Right now I have: Trainer, #1, and #2. I need to buy the #3 and get started on it.
You should get one down from the one you can close so that you can do warmups, too. I have the trainer and #1 and can close the #1 with each hand around five times depending on the weather.

I thought about that, but just didnt feel like spending the extra 20 bucks on a training one. I figure I can do my warmups with some db's or something.
Don't have a final plan yet, but I am thinking of doing grip twice per week with a "heavy" and a "light" day. Probably do the lighter work on my deadlift or back day, then do the heavy work on a rest day ie saturday.
