C callthedoctor New member Feb 2, 2004 #5 I'd like to put these in my plan, but they hurt my wrists....do you think they (my wrists) are too close together? How far apart is your grip? Also...I do them on the smith machine....do you think that matters?

Buddy_Christ New member Feb 2, 2004 #6 i try my best to keep them tucked when i do close grip bench, as my close grip bench is on bis/tris day. i also try to keep them tucked in when doing regular bench as well, but i don't get too concerned if they drift outwards.
