Clomid could be fatal

My doctor prescribed gave me clomid the other day when I asked him for it. He's also going to prescribe me cypionate and enanthate. He called me tonite after he was done work and he said he talked to an endocrinologist down at the hospital and told him that i was taking clomid and the guy asked him if I was fucking crazy. The endocrinologist said that clomid or hcg can fuck up my natural anabolic hormones in my body and that it could be fatal by shutting my adrenal glands down. He said that you couldn't resusitate a person after that happened. Now I've done clomid and hcg lots of times before but could it be possible that clomid could be fatal?? I figure since he's an endocrinologist he must know something. Does anyone on this board know anything about this?

I have never seen a single case of a clomid-related death documented,nor have I ever heard of anyone having any serious complications from it.I would not worry bro.

It could have been a classic case where the scientists gives the mice 3 million times highest dose that bill gates could afford. Then of course bad things will happen. I am positive he knows more than me but with as large a base of people on this board and all of their friends nobody has ever had or known someone who had this happen to them....at lleast from what I have seen and read. I think it could be scare tactic from the gov't.

hmmmm the adrenal glands dont seem to be mentioned , and as the adrenal glands are not gender specific , i dont think that clomids' "Fatal Adrenal Shutdown Syndrome" is of any serious concern .

Dermatologic: Acne, allergic reaction, erythema, erythema multiforme, erythema nodosum, hypertrichosis, pruritus.

Central Nervous System: Migraine headache, paresthesia, seizure, stroke, syncope.

Psychiatric: Anxiety irritability, mood changes, psychosis.

Visual Disorders: Abnormal accommodation, cataract, eye pain, macular edema, optic neuritis, photopsia, posterior vitreous detachment, retinal hemorrhage, retinal thrombosis, retinal vascular spasm, temporary loss of vision.

Cardiovascular: Arrhythmia, chest pain, edema, hypertension, palpitation, phlebitis, pulmonary embolism, shortness of breath, tachycardia, thrombophlebitis.

Musculoskeletal: Arthralgia, back pain, myalgia.

Hepatic: Transaminases increased, hepatitis.

Neoplasms: Liver (hepatic hemangiosarcoma, liver cell adenoma, hepatocellular carcinoma); breast (fibrocystic disease, breast carcinoma); endometrium (endometrial carcinoma); nervous system (astrocytoma, pituitary tumor, prolactinoma, neurofibromatosis, glioblastoma multiforme, brain abcess); ovary (luteoma of pregnancy, dermoid cyst of the ovary, ovarian carcinoma); trophoblastic (hydatiform mole, choriocarcinoma); miscellaneous (melanoma, myeloma, perianal cysts, renal cell carcinoma, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, tongue carcinoma, bladder carcinoma); and neoplasms of offspring (neuroectodermal tumor, thyroid tumor, hepatoblastoma, lymphocytic leukemia).

There has been research on people taking clomid daily for more then one year, without negative,ever lasting side effects!So how could a 2 to 3 week therapy harm someone???
