clomid and depression

has anyone experianced depression on clomid?.ive heard that it does but has anyone ever experianced this?

Never.....I did 100 mg for the first 5 days then 50 mg for another week...... everything was OK.....

its not the clomid that causes the depression its the low test levels from post cycle that affect the brain

Not depression per say, but unusual moods. For lack of a better description I would say you (or at least I) become more EMOTIONAL. Like chick flicks bringing a tear to my eye. I am also prone to be more irratable with Clomid...

I personally have not had any problems with it but a common side effect with Clomid are mood swings (just to name one) Often people have depression post cycle though

Go easy on the Clomid, I would advise. Pros advise you only need a little to kickstart your own test production. More can mess up your hormones and your emotions like you can't believe. Remember, it's not an AS. It's FEMALE hormones, and too much will make a guy a bitch to end all bitches.

Starting on a too-high dose of Clomid (300 mg first day) I had PMS-like mood swings. Scary. I flew into a fit of anger and chewed out my own parents, who had done nothing to deserve it.

Just watch yourself on this stuff ...
