Dude you are from Calgary? I need to hit you up, I'm thinking of buying up there. In the mountains east that is. After you recover from working clockwork over I'd like to talk about a meat up.

Not quite sure, here is what I'm looking for. Somewhere near the mountains that will work as a off season home(but home base). I want a somewhat quaint town with a little class. Ya know a place where I can drink some wine and have some decent food. Skiing with in reasonable distance and summer recreation also. Think outside Jackson Hole Wyoming or outside Park City Utah. I don't need a big piece, it could even be downtown if the place was right. I like to fish so on water would be ideal but as long as it was with in reason that would be fine also. Being close to Calgary(Max 8 hours) would help out a lot for travel reasons. What are your thoughts?

Bannf, but its expensive and really touristy. Canmore is nice also but again really expensive. Look into Golden or Revelstoke. Golden is like 3 hours from Calgary and its in the heart of the Rocky Mountains

how often do you come across another Viper in your hood?
Honestly heavy i have seen 2 this year. Ive seen like 20 ferraris, everyone in Calgary seems to have one.

I've been google earthing those areas a lot. I know a bit about Bannf and Lake louise but was thinking somewhere near them. Like a locals town near that benefits off the tourists bringing things in. I just didn't know if there were any other areas near that were similar to Bannf and LL. I start doing more research and let you know. I have 9 more years to retirement so something like a small vaca home or cabin with a great lot would be ideal I think because I won't be using it a lot over the next 9 and then I would expand at that point. How is the market in those areas right now, through the roof or down?

Oh and back to the thread, are you and CW ripping it up tonight?
