Clemens named for using steroids!

i called this last year. but i can't prove it. i saw the way he trained, pretty intense.

I just remember the 2000 playoff game against Seatle that he struck out 15 and gave up only 1 hit. He was hitting 99mph on the gun in the 7th inning. Kinda made me wonder.

This is crazy, the guys are pros, they should be able to do what ever they want,

If he can throw at 99 mph, God Bless him, and let him take any thing he wants.

Have any of you guys ever tried to hit a ball at 99mph, you can't even see it at that speed.

i'm not actually swinging at the ball, i'm trying to defend myself from it.

Yeah... its insanely fast. I blew out my elbow pitching in high school my senior year. A lot of you are gonna call bullshit, but the fastest I was clocked was at 96. Once I destroyed my elbow I said fuckit, and played football in college instead. It still frustrates me too, because I have a family history of professional baseball players (my father, uncle, grand father and cousin).

I have long thought that Clemens used gear. He trains very rigorously, however to have that kind of durability and to remain as dominant as he has for as long as he has, one cant help but speculate. However the one thing that really threw me off is that he hasnt really had any serious career threatening injuries as of late. Most athletes that abuse steroids as a lot of us do, end up doing some serious damage usually to tendons and/or ligaments. In pitching, there is a lot of straign placed on various parts of the arm and shoulder, that honestly i would think a pitcher at his age and activity level would end up hurting at some point if he was consistently using gear.

Regardless, hes still one of the greatest pitchers of all-time, and probably the greatest pitcher any of us actually got a chance to watch during our lifetimes (Nolan who?).

:coffee:

I've suspected him since his final days with the Sox when he blew up, size wise. Back then people thought he was getting too bulky to pitch successfully. Guess they were wrong!
