Cleaning lady didn't show up

Now I'm gonna have to straighten the place out myself. I'm so accustomed to her cleaning up now that I don't do shit anymore, I don't wash the dishes, if I spill, I don't clean up, etc.... I'm glad the bathrooms are still relatively clean.

thats such a bunch of horse crap. i thought women were supposed to be more adapted to clean? what was she doing? what happened? dont stand for this shadiness

sorearms what do you pay to have your place cleaned? is it an apartment? how are you so broke you can't even go out tonight but you can afford a maid????

$40 per visit, once a week, she's here about 3 hours.

It's a Townhome like apartment (two stories), she cleans Kitchen, living room, stairway, and 2 bathrooms. Everything but the bedrooms (per our request). She also washes the dishes, cleans my desk, straghtens things out, cleans the inside of the microwave and all sorts of little things like that. She's pretty rad, she cleans the floors by hand with a rag, she doesn't like using a mop, it comes out way cleaner that way.

Actually, I'm kind of glad she didn't come becasue of the money thing, but now i have to wash the dishes myself (godamit!)

I had an awesome cleaning lady when I lived in San Antonio. I want to find one in California but how do you figure out who to trust in your home? :confused:



Are you guys always there while they clean?
 
i dont own any thing to clean but i do enjoy pissing all over the bathroom


just everywhere sink mirror tub on towels

That is one of the reasons why we don't have her clean our rooms, just to avoid the possibilities of having things missing. I'm usually asleep when she comes and my roomate (until last week) had an early morning saturday class. She usually shows up like at 8:00 or 9:00 AM, she rings the front gate, I let her in, go back to sleep and she knocks at my door and wakes me up when she's done. Last week, I didn't go to beed until past 5:00 AM, and my roomie spent the weekend with his gf. At like 12:00 PM, a knock on my door woke me up and it was the cleaning lady telling me she had finished cleaning. I was like WTF, how did you get in? Some one had left the gate to our building open and apparently I was so wasted when I got home the night before that I left the front door open. She knows I'm always still sleeping up to late in the morning so she didn't bother waking me up. Good thing she's a nice honest lady. My roomates mom gave us her number, otherwise I wouldn't know how to find a trusting one and I wouldn't want to pay the cleaning agencies over inflated prices.

I'm in LB now but I'm moving to Huntington Beach. I don't know where South Bay is. :)
