Clean opinions

I was always a big fan of cleans. But I was always lifting for the purpose of rugby and the explosion part was very beneficial. Nothin helped with impact on tackling like they did! Do you all think they are very effective for common body building as well or more just for explosion?
 
I'd like to see opinions on this too. I don't think it would be too effective because bodybuilders don't seem to need power movements. I would personally do them anyway because it's a great exercise.
 
I am not a bodybuilder but why would you want to look strong and not be strong. As you know, cleans are great for strength so why stop doing them?
 
I'm with you, this is one of my fav exercises and I always work them in my weekly routine either as BB/DB power cleans or hang cleans. They're one of the exercises I do no matter what my current goal is because it's one of the most functional exercises out there.
 
I am still including them, but it seems people have steered away from them. Hell I think I've seen one other person do them at my gym. I was just wondering why people don't do them.
