Im sure alot of people run CKD and crave something sweet, and desert like. I made some of those peanutbutter cookies, recipe is in this forum. Then I took 3 tablespoons of heavy cream, a few drops of vanilla extract, and 3 packets of equal and made my own whipped cream. Place all that in a bowl, crunch of the cookie, it is the closet high fat, low carb ice cream type of good u will ever have. I just made my cookies so that each 1 had 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, per cookie.

I think deserts are OUT of the question w/ CKD, if done properly and supplemented properly, you will NOT have any cravings. If so, then they need to be help off until the carb-up. Really, the big problem is people lack appropriate vitamins/minerals (chromium is one) and thing slike 5-HTP, with the proper nutrition not present, it's hard to not have carvings.

Mr.X is right, if your doing it right there shouldn't be any cravings for sweets, hell just thinking about them now makes me sick. The way I see it now is that it is only 6 days that you have to go without carbs and sweets, then you get to carb up. The best things come to those who wait. I think if you really need to treat yourself, grab a tablespoon of Natrual PB, but make sure you count the 3 grams of carb that come along with it. I personally have cut out ALL external carbs from my diet now, and you know what, its no big deal. Makes the Carb-up that much more enjoyable.
 
Hmm

I dont get it, this meal is like

34 grams of fat, 4 grams of protein, and like 6 carbs. Doesnt that meet ratious for Keto Food. It is one time in a day as well?

Ok

Take 3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream add a drop or 2 of vanilla extract, 1-2 packets of equal, and then have one of those low carb peanut butter cookies.

My recipe was 8 packets of equal, 8 tablespoons of butter a little vanilla, and 1 whole gg.

I then whipped the cream with a blender, and poured it over top of one of mine crush up peanut butter cookies.

Well, 1pb cookie wont hurt, my imagination says that at least 20 of those would be needed to make me feel "full".
