Well, without naming any names of companies, parties or clinets... or client agreed to let the other company continued use of their tradename. The truth is, if the case went to court... it'd probably result in much the same result... as both companies have been working like this for several years... either or would be estopped from making a claim.

So... the bottom line is... I got paid for stopping a lawsuit... and brining further costs to each side. I'm not sure if that is in the best interest of the law firm I was working for... but it is in the best interest of the client, and that is how I always think.
