Trust me. When something is too good to be true, it is.
CLA is good for fat loss but definitely not like that ad says. And you can get it milk and save a fortune.
How much were you taking. It's not a miracle worker by any means, especially for actual fat loss. But through research I have found that it can keep the body from storing fat in calorie excess.
I've always used a combination of CLA, R-ALA, and Sesamin while bulking, cheating, maintaining. I've found that the combination absolutely helps to inhibit fat storage.
My protocol is/was: R-ala 100mg per 25g carbs, Sesamin 400mg sesamin before meals, CLA 10g spread throughout the day.
Definitely works for me to stop fat storage in caloric excess. But I that doesn't mean it would work for everyone else. It's not cheap either. But I've been able to bulk and maintain in ways i never had previously, so there must be something to the protocol.
IF you are interested, you could try it out for a month on bulk. It would probably cost an extra $40-$60 or so.
