It's too fecking commercialized - Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ and all the teachings he brought us, the focus should never have gotten so wrapped up in this gift giving spend as much money as you can shit.

My wife and I have`nt exchanged gifts for years. She knows I`m not a person that likes to follow the herd. We give gifts to each other at different times of the year. Birthdays too are`nt a time for giving gifts in our case.

I`m weird.

AS a kid we celebrated Christmas for what it stood for in our family....did the whole birthday caked for Jesus thing...and sang to him. Also gifts were few....parents said that we wget more at our birthdays.....I think part of that is true, but the other part was we were poor and they had 3 kids.
