Bonds has been relatively hot lately too, but Sosa is on fire. I think they will both have a better shot at the record if they go neck and neck the rest of the way. Unfotunately for Bonds, he seems to get walked twice a game lately. Sosa is such a free swinger, it's hard to pitch around him...

Since Sosa got Mcgriff in the lineup he has been ridiculous.

Bonds rarely gets anything to hit......I don't know if he can get to 70.

I went to the game on Sunday here in Phx.... Sosa was swinging for the fence every swing.... that ball he hit out that day to dead center was a bomb.

And it is 14 HR's in the last 18 games!!! The three he hit today were with a 22 MPH wind blowing out to left. Gotta love Wrigley Field.

Too bad Sammy is hitting bombs but the Cubs are sinking fast. That is typical though.

Happy.. "CrimeDOG" is still a pretty intimidating figure at the plate.... although his stats aren't that great.

over Sosa.......can't figure out why they keep pitching to him.......Bonds leads in homers and walks....in less at bats......who is more repected?

NOW THAT SOSA HAS MCGRIFF BEHIND HIM FOR PROTECTION, HE WILL BE DEVASTATING!!! MORE THAN BEFORE.

WRIGLEY IS ACTUALLY A HARD PARK FOR HITTERS. IF SOSA WAS IN A MORE HITTER FRIENDLY PARK HE WOULD SMASH THE 70 MARK.

BONDS IS STILL RIPPING UP SHIT, EVEN AT HIS AGE.
