Barrycare is basically a massive upsizing of Medicaid, with taxpayer subsidies. Why don't docs....

1) all refuse to take Medicaid

2) refuse to refer patients to doctors who take Medicaid

They should all sign a no-Medicaid pledge.

Shouldn't that do the trick?

it didn't help with Medicaid which was a smaller scale I don't see how it would work with Obamacare that is pretty massive.

I work with parents who have Medicaid or NO insurance, when they fuck up appointments with meds and they need immediate help we have practically no one in the COUNTY that can help, I've literally sat down one afternoon and called psych by psych in the area and there's maybe FOUR that accept Medicaid and of course their waiting list for appointments is weeks long, no one else accepts Medicaid. Fucked up...

Sounds like a promising start.

Maybe as a device manufacturer, we should charge a 25% price premium to doctors and hospitals that don't sign the no-medicare pledge.
