Can anyone recommend some good children's bedtime books (either a series or one book with many stories) which go heavy on the pictures and light on the text. So far I have the complete series of Dr. Seuss and 'The Big Book of Bedtime Stories'.

can't go wrong with aladdin. Greatest story ever told. Im not saying that just because im arabic.
