Children Anyone??????And potty training?

Hey everyone! Just wondering how many of you have kids-
I have one, a lil girl, (a pic is on my page, theres a link on my profile )and she is about 20months.....
Just got her a potty chair-- but dont know where to start!
I set it on the floor, took off her pants...and she started to take of her diaper!
Then she tried to sit on it! So I guess thats good! No pee pee though...then she jumped up and tried to run around naked...........
How old were your kids when they learned to potty???
My mom told me she should be learning already!
Saving money on diapers would be nice......and suggestions to get her going???????

I don't remember learning to potty train... I just remember always knowing how to use the toilet. Kids are pretty smart... just show them how it is done, and then tell them that is how big girls/boys do it... more than likely, they'll go along... if they have ADD, remember to give them their meds.

I do remember stories of my brother, who fell into the toilet... that must have been a funny site... wish I was born at the time.

I really admire you! 4 kids! 4 daughters! By yourself??

He wasn't around much when we were married.... so believe me when I say that it is waaaaaaaay easier now.

As a matter of fact (I know that this will sound odd) but if he were truly a deadbeat, my life would be so much less complicated.

Note to guys out there: If you are only interested in torturing your ex as opposed to being a man and loving your children then do the mother and the child(ren) a HYUGE favor and JUST UP AND LEAVE!

No gurl, I am nothing special. I only do what I have to.... what would I do without my girls? I'd be bored silly! LOL!
