chewing gum while bulking

Boxers chew allot of gum to strengthen there jaw and face think chewing allot of gum will help keep the face tones while bulking
 
i would NEVER EVER go on a bulking cycle without an ample supply of juicy fruits. :p

really? I've read and experienced that chewing gum actually increases appetite. Think of it, your basically putting a non-digestable solid in your mouth and chewing. By doing this, your sending signals to your stomach that its about to accept food. The more you chew, the more you leave your stomach hanging and eventually get hungry.
 
I always felt that chewing gum aids in digestion. Your constantly swallowing saliva which will help food digest, and if you really want to be totally hard core about cutting cals yes gum will help burn cals. You are constantly working your muscles so uhhh yeah it will burn cals. I have never heard of it for strengthening jaws but I wouldn't doubt it.
 
This thread is funny....I get up and chew gum for thirty minutes on an empty stomach 3 days a week. I'm shredded!:D -WULF
 
i have heard of boxers doing this as well. and i have to admit i do chew gum more frequently/purposely during cycle to strengthen my jaw. its a muscle, too. fina pump in the jaw ....its kind of funny.. i am not sure about keeping facial tone , though, especially while bulking. maybe cutting....
 
chewing gum does have an effect on digestion; atleast for me it does. even if i eat a huge breakfast, if i chew gum directly after, my stomach will be growling hardcore in less than an hour! it sucks!!
 
I can't bulk and chew gum at the same time. Not coordinated enough.
