I have BF's but I am getting some Dick Cepeks this summer

I don't know where you live, but Mickey Thompson is the off road tire of choice around in Texas, but we also have some really different terrain. Thornburgs are my personal favorite

check out the Dick Cepeks... they are like Mickey Thompsons.. except alot better.

I use Mickeys on my drag car.

Will do, I can always use extra info on tires, afterall, that is what makes performance

Also, I don't know if you know the answer to this, but do you know anything about locking differentials? I was gonna put a set on the front axle, it's said that it's like having positrack, which is ideal. BUT, I want to know when I turn the wheel, will it fuck up my tires or will it make it harder to steer and operate?
If you can't anser then it's ok, but if you know of a website that might help, then any help will be appreciated
Thanks

I have a 1995 Chevy Suburban, V-8 350 with 165,xxx miles on it. Runs like a top and wouldn't trade it for the world. Well...if a new Suburban or Avalance was free...haha.

dballer's truck is very very slick...very.

Just gotta get that bumper fixed man...don't you know it is illegal to drive with your tailgate down? :)

are you going to lock the rear as well? if one axle is locked, you will need traction bars to reduce the amount of axlewrap presented by your locker, unless you get a limited slip. assuming that the rear isn't locked, why would you want to just lock the front? I dont have first hand experience with a locked front, but I would assume that it would wear out your tires a little more than usual WHEN you run in 4wd.

positive traction=limited slip differential
locked axle-detroit locker

I have a locker in my nissan(go ahead and laugh), but I still need to install these tractionbars that are just sitting at home. if only I had a couple of hours to spare.
