Hey guys, need some answers. Last week I was doing pause reps with 385lbs on the bench. My last set on the 5 rep I felt a pop on the right side of my peck where the peck and armpit meets. A lil light bruise showed up where it happened at for a day than went away. I'm able to flex my peck with no pain and did chest this past week with no pain just went light. Any clue on what happened?
 
Well usually bruising would ve a sign of a torn muscle. Although if you completely tore the oec in that corner where it attatches you would know it and you sure as hell wouldnt be training chest anytime soon lol.. I would guess that it was a very very slight tear.. It probably wasnt the best idea to do chest the next week. I would have waited a couple weeks..im just cautious I guess
