Checklist for bloodtest

I was reading through the archives and there was a lot of conflicting advise. I would like to know what you guys would recommend to have checked. This is mainly to see where I stand before starting my first cycle to compare post cycle.

Ask them to test these:
Chemistry Screen: Sodium, Potassium,etc.
CBC: Complete Blood Count - this is for white/red blood cells
Lipid Panel: Cholesterol levels
Liver Function Test: ALT/AST/GGT,etc.
Renal Function Test: BUN,Creatinine
Thyroid Panel: T3/T4
Hormonal: Estrogen,Estradiol,Testosterone
(Fast for 8-12 before blood is drawn to get accurate results)

Ok. I don't want to sound like some newbie but it'll be my first cycle so I want to do this right. Everything is accounted for from my year of research except the bloodtest part. If I bring this list in, is the doc gonna look at me like I'm fucked up??? Maybe I should take DrJMW on his offer. It's too wierd to have the saem exact initials as the man. :p

Those are the routine tests for a complete bloodtest, with maybe the exception of the hormonal test. The doctor may question you about the latter one, but just tell him you took some DHEA and/or your sex drive is non-existent. This is a really good way the Doc can determine what is going on in your body.
I told my doc I was taking a lot of OTC supplements and feeling very sluggish, even after I quit taking them. He just needs to document why you are getting the test(s) done. There has to be a "medical reason", not that you felt like getting it done.

If you have insurance and the doctor doesn't want to do it, just go to someone else (who will be glad to take the easy money).
