Checked out the Cubs game today

Woke up around 7:30am (first time waking up that early on a Sat in about 6 months, easy)

Drove like a maniac to the train station (my lady jumped out the car while it was still moving to pay the parking fee) we sprinted up there to the train, made it.....dropped about $50 on cabs, $120 on beers....

Wriglyville was INSANE. I love paying $9 for a beer :gheigh: There is no smoking section at Wrigley. I wanted to kill someone after my 5th beer

Cubs won....grabbed a cab right back to the train station, caught the ride home....went out to eat...damn busy day. Drunkin mess is what I'll call it

Anyway....just sharing. Met up with about 12 good friends for the game. Good times.

I miss pro games so bad. The last Phillies game I went to I caught a Mike Schmidt home run ball, so 5th grade? (old)

Here in SLC we have the AAA Angels team and it's cool and all, but it feels like a high school game. The guy that was killed by that drunk driver last year played here and he seemed like a really cool guy. Always threw kids the ball he was throwing and would chat it up with people. So I guess that makes it cool, but whatever.
