its a recent program introduced by my province, where bait cars are placed in high crime neighborhoods and hooked up with video cameras. so when they get jacked, the crook is on tape and immediately apprehended. so far the programs doing a great job, and this site has some of the videos of the theives being caught.

This is very refreshing. In the US most of the money is spent setting up drug stings which is such a waste. I'm glad to see some focusing on real crimes like theft. Wish they'd get he hint down here.
