Following Colin Powell's methodical and compelling case that
Iraq has defied all demands to disarm, it seems clearer than
ever that it will take force to stop Saddam Hussein.
But in spite of overwhelming evidence, hundreds of thousands
of radical peace activists continue undermining the efforts
of our President, his Administration and our armed forces.
In their most concerted effort to date, this week, in more
than a dozen cities throughout the nation, as many as one
million citizens will stage anti-war demonstrations, and
rallies--while thousands of miles away, our soldiers are
laying their lives on the line.
As one of our supporters Carl C. wrote, "I'm worried that
these peaceniks will turn this into another Vietnam for our
boys and girls when they return home...
Of course Carl's referring to the less than heroic welcome our
Vietnam veterans received upon coming home from the war.
