lol, well done

what do you mean you are joking? installation was easy or it's not your tv?

Aren't you a funny little rodent! I was going to say "sweet", but the back side looks like a mess. I thought flat screen meant flat, guess not.. :worried:

Peace

i guess i dont see the humor behind that... it's actually a good idea and very easily done... sure, the backside is a little dirty, but who's isnt?

It would probably have been the nicest tv in the up if you were serious.

btw

Vizio - flat screens....several best buys and best overall scores for Flat screens

Global Computers had 50" with surround sound speakers, free shipping and 1yr free onsite repair/replacement for 1300 bucks

vizio's are teh savior!!! they are driving prices down with their high quality low priced products... yay vizio

Now are you going to move the door that is behind the TV? The one that appears to be a left hand swing with the hinges on the inside? That appears to be a violation of more than one building code but who knows about you peeps in MI. The concept is awesome but for resale you are gonna have to fix the violations for liability purposes.

a little know factoid is: the UP of michigan has the largest concentration of "3 stooges" rerun viewings than any other area of the USA.

It's not as easy as it looks. You have 2X4's going down the wall that need to be cut and a header placed on top of the TV for support. The sheetrock needs to be cut and reinstalled spackled afterwards. Apparantly that is not done by the looks of the pic.

I actually have thought of doing that. I don't need to do it, so I haven't but I HAVE thought of it and would keep the screen only visible with the bottom portion behing the sheetrock. The screen would be behind the rock about half an inch with a bevel going back to touch it seamlessly. Then all you would see is the screen without the bottom.

If you did this in your basement, you could build a fake wall in front of the TV on one end of the room, and store all the components there as well. No need to cut an existing wall. Also cutout for speakers.

im gonna do the same thing in my trailer. that would be sweet... is the backside waterproof? that may be a problem cause the only wall i can put that in will have the back of it outside.
