Yeah. Cheated the fuck out of it, but it was just sitting there on the floor and I thought I'd give it a go.

just think of the applications. you never know when you may have to curl a couple of these:

I started off with conventional, but quickly resorted to the imaginative method.

The rush I got was beyond belief. So trust me in saying, I know exactly how you must have felt brother.
 
Not to steal your thunder or anything, but last week in the gym I curled up next to a bar with 315 on it and took a 30 minute nap. I had just finished an intense session of putting all the 2.5lb plates that were strewn around the gym back in the plate racks. By next summer I'll be handling the nickels if everything goes well.
 
I cheat curled like 700lbs... I did have a crane and lift assisting me, however. :)

LOL. We're talking about quite a cheat. I can do a legit 5 rep set with 185 on a straight bar on a good day, but 225 required quite the "swing and lean". I was cold too. Lucky I didn't fuck something up.

True enough but you are supposed to be able to shoulder press what....twice as much as you curl?
450 pound shoulder press? I don't think so.
At any rate....the fucker is much stronger than me.

I think cas is a curl freak. He should do those Strongman thingies.
 
No bullshit, but back when i was doing HIT training i used to be able to cheat hammer curl 125 with one arm. I don't know if hammer curl (palm inward) is physically easier than palm forward curls.

i'm a pussy now though.

Hammer curl is a bit easier, but 125 pounds is a motherfuckin' assload of weight, my man. Props on that. :fro:

I think the Hammer Curl is definitely a solid exercise. Form before weight if you have a problem with cheating.

shoulder press twice what you can curl? never heard that man. i know i can't, that's for sure. i'v seen someone curl 3 plates on each side though. i think the bar was a little smaller, like the long curl bar, like half the size of the olympic....but yeah, cas is a big kid
