my little buddy's xbox 360 has suffered the 3 rings of death thing... we got past the 4 rings of death thingy a month ago. But the console won't play certain games either. Not Halo 3 (yes we sent it back and got the upgrade and even rent it twice.. no play) and NBA 2006K..

So.. they want $160 + shipping and handling to send it back. And it takes 4-6 weeks to receive it from them. Hell that is the price of a new one.
