Cheap diet

What would be some good stuff to save money while I'm trying to lose bodyfat over time (not an intense cutting diet (I'll do that later)- I just dont need to bulk up anymore..)

so far I've got
- oatmeal
- Tuna
- fruit
- veggies

- any opinion on the low carb, high fiber pasta that has come out?

Thanks all

Chicken my man...lots of chicken, brown rice, yams, spinach, broccoli (high in fiber), sugar-free fat-free puding is good for a sweet snack.

My shopping is cheap. I buy lots of red kidney beans, beans, peas, eggs, I snack on nuts, peanut butter is excellent. You can bulk really well on these and it won't set you back anything more that you would normally shop for anyhow

What type of space do you have?? Apt., house, closet?? Can you keep a closet in your house for food?

The reason I ask is that you can make a closet into a "pantry" & buy in bulk for low cost & store it..... if you have the room, a chest or standing freezer is a good investment........... basically -- check out your local grocery store ads every week for sale prices & buy in bulk according to what's on sale....purchasing a Sunday paper for the coupons can help also......

COTTAGE CHEESE. My favorite. I just bought 2 tubs for $3 at Safeway...1% milkfat too...
