Cheap cell phones?

I need a new cell phone. I do not, however, need to spend 300 bucks. Anybody know a good place to get em cheap or maybe someobody in the Chicago area??

Talk with your companies service line directly. Odds are they'll give you a deal you can't beat at a store, you'll just have to wait a few days to receive it in the mail. If you reup your contract they normally make it even cheaper!

we got our phones free with the contract, and that's probably the cheapest way to go. if your phone is still functional, they might take it back and give you a discount on another one.

Yeah call the main office. A guy at my phone place told me they always undercut the actual stores for some reason, so try them.

i've bought 2 amplifiers and 2 head units on ebay. one head unit was refurbished and didn't work upon arrival. the replacement they sent only half worked. i was kinda ticked because the seller had over 700 positive feedbacks and a rating above 97%.

the other stuff was used and worked 100%.

Ya I'll definitely have to do my homework if I decide to go that route.

as long as it's a good seller you should be ok. the refurbished head unit hell i had to deal with was just odd. the seller had repeat customers for more expensive stuff than i bought. oh well.
