Changing needles on Your Pins

I have read a few post of people using a smaller gauge needle to fill the syringe. Then swapping it with a larger gauge needle for less painful injection.

Do you guys reuse the filling needle for your injections or do you basically use and discard two needles for one shot.

I would obviosly never re-use the injecting needle.

normally I'll do it the other way waround. Buy one 25g w/case and a single 21g pin.. Take the 55g of the case(syringe) and replace with the 21g.. draw out the gear and then switch back to the 25g to inject

then toss both.

I always draw with a 22g then swap to a 25g. I would never be able to draw with a 25g. after one use everything gets disposed of.

I bought some 18g to draw with,never reuse them,talk about a f'in knitting needle,what do they use 18g to shoot...horses?

I once caught the end of my finger when putting an 18g needle back into its sheath. It took almost a fortnight to heal. I'd need to be desperate to shoot with one.

Disposibles for a typical injection are: one or two wipes, depending on whether I'm drawing from a vial; one syringe; two needles.

buy your syringe with the drawing needle on it so you dont have to swap back and forth.
Makes no sense to buy a syringe with a 25g, take the 25g off put on a 21g, take the 21g off put back the 25g.

Where can i get such a pin with two needles?

buy 22g combos (syringe+needle) and then just 25g needles.. draw oil with the 22g combo and then switch out the 22g needle wit hthe 25g needle. voila.

You dont have too but its just easier and the cost is the same anyway.
I used to buy them with the injection pin on it then pointed it out for me.

Changing needles on Your Pins

Needles are pins,


I draw with an 18g or a 20g and inject with something smaller eg 23g or 25g depending upon the area of injection.


I always use at least 2 needles per injection.


An infection from a dirty injection could shut down for quite a while.

Yeah I used to get 1 1/2in. 22 guagers from the animal feed store and soak in alchohol after injects then reuse over and over. REALLY FUCKING STUPID!!!(this is also why I cannot believe all these guys that get abcesses and cry night and day about inject pain!!) But this was before EF and all the online pinz guys were around.

Now its 21 guage to pull (they dont shred the rubber vial stoppers as much as 18's)

1.5 in. 25 or 23 for glute injects

1in. 25 for quads

single use for ALL needles and syringes!!

18g for the delts, bis, and calf injects.. save the 25g for small muscle groups

I fill multiple syringes at the same time with the same 18g pin, I just keep it in the vial and load up the syringes one by one. I'll usually fill 5 syringes at one time, that way I only have to repeat the procedure every 10 days or so.
