PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, i'm begging you, do not buy CellTech! I have lost all faith in humanity! - it's just creatine monohydrate with 75g of dextrose and 200mg ala. It is much cheaper to buy purecreatine monohydrate , and then get dextrose from your pharmacy and make your own. This only leaves ala - 200mg in Cell Tech (600mg needed for optimal effect according to clinical trials). In addition, it contains the r-s enametor blend of alpha lipoic acid - not the pure r-enametor (attributed to the majority of ala's beneficial insulin potentiating effects). Studies have also shown that a combination of carbs and protein create the same blood glucose/insulin response as carbohydrate taken by itself - so if you are consuming a protein shake or meal replacement after training, the extra protein and/or carbs will assist the insulin response.
In short the product is hyped up to ludicrous levels - and it doesn't even contain out of the ordinary ingredients.
I ma not trying to plug my own products, but I am a genuine sport scientist, who has created a range of formulae. Some of which are going into development as I speak. I am debating whether to get my ATP/creatine formula developed- have listed it below:
ATP EXPLOSION:
CREATINE MAGNESIUM CHELATE 10g
ALPHA LIPOIC ACID 600mg
RIBOSE 10g
D-PINITOL 500mg
GLUCOSE 18g
TAURINE 5g
GLUTAMINE 5g
This is to be preceeded by using ATP LOAD, listed below. This is given free in the form of a sachet, and must be taken 5x a day for 5 days.
ATP LOAD
CREATINE MAGNESIUM CHELATE 5g
ALPHA LIPOIC ACID 200mg
D-PINITOL 200mg
GLUCOSE 18g
The product stacks with the meal replacement/post exercise shale (which includes copious protein as well as many other ingredients tha either boost the secretion of insulin or manipulate hormone levels)
It would amaze you, just how cheap creatine is to produce - the cost price is 2 pounds 50p / $4.70 per 500g, with dextrose powder being far cheaper than this - Someone at Muscletech is laughing!
