I realize cell-tech is a mass marketed product, but does it work very well? I was thinking about getting on it after using this precision engineered crap from vitamin world. Any thoughts or other suggestions?

some get good results, others not, i personally couldnt stand it bc after every workout id pass out bc there was so much sugar in it. there are better products for your money. stay away imo.

Instead of spending that much money, make your own.
Dextrose+creatine+cool-aid packet( not exactly cell tech, but i think its better and way cheaper)

DO NOT get cell tech. I repeat, do not. This product, and the company that makes it has long been the laughing-stock of the supplement industry, because all they do is get creatine, mix in some sugar, and charge you an outrageous amount of money for it. A plain bottle of creatine monohydrate and grape juice does the same thing as that crap supplement.

yeah, it works great, but i wouldn't buy it. why do that when you can build your own for a fraction of the cost....here's how:

1. buy your creatine
2. buy some alpha lipoic acid
3. buy some cornsugar(dextrose) from a bulk barn
4. if you so desire, buy some chromium picolinate
5. note the amounts from the side of the cell-tech tub
6. dose out the same amount each time as prescribed.

i did this and had good results at a fraction of the cost.

If you're not looking to make your own stuff, below is the best creatine I've used, it's been more effective than what I tried in the past and the appearance of bloat is minimal too.
Scitec nutrition is the manufacturer, Trans-X is the product

I've used Cell-Tech with OK results. It bothered my stomach some, though. My problem is that you can make it yourself at probably 1/4 -1/3 of the cost. Also, if you've really looked at all the crap in it, you might not want to take it. Several friends of mine (bodybuilders) won't take it because of all the junk in it. I'd go with pure creatine. You might have to use a few before finding out which one works best for you. The ones suggested here are a great place to start.
Being kind of a newb, read everything you can get your hands on - not from the muscle mags, but from places like this that have real bodybuilders with real advice. This site has a wealth of info from lots of guys and gals that have been where you're at and can help you through it.
