Celebrex dosage?

I finally got some Celebrex from my team doctor. I had been using ibuprofen at up to 3000mg/day to keep back and joint inflammation down. Obviously I didn't want to keep doing this due to liver concerns.

My question is this: How much Celebrex is it safe to be using? I weigh 290 lbs. The standard dosage is just one 200mg pill/day. I'm wondering if thats going to be enough.

Sports Med gave me Celebrex for a ligament injury it did help with the swelling but... I dont remeber what dose I was takin and just a side note I got VERY tired while on Celebrex I dunno if it was really due to the Clebrex or not but I have heard others say the same. I will look what my dosages were this evening it did work though

I have tried Celebrex and I liked Vioxx better. 1 50mg pill of Vioxx is better than two 200mg Celebrex.

Update I was takeing (1) 200mg pill ever 4-6 hrs
