CCW Permit for those whose state won't allow.

Check out this site on the Utah CCW. A resident of any state can obtain one and it is valid in 29 states. You still won't be allowed to carry it in your home state, but you can carry when traveling to any of the other states.
29 states covered in permit, it is the best deal out there. You can get a FLA CCW and add two more states as well if you are so inclined.
Those of you who live in non-issuing states still have this option. If you want to help work on getting a permit in your state, support H.R. 990.

Forget Cali, get your out-of-state CCW and put pressure on them to pass their own CCW laws. More than half of the states, now a majority, will give CCW's. Every state needs to come into compliance.

Before 9/11, canadians could get a non-resident permit from Utah. It was pretty easy. Havent tried since...
