man i'm on eastern time did I miss it? its 9pm right now.
There was a congressional hearing on this crap about a month ago. The mouthpieces are talking about how they've got to stop the flow of counterfeits across the border, and were flabbergasted (this was completely faked) to find that Americans were allowed to cross back into the US with a personal use amount of scrip meds. The panel that the politician jackasses were grilling consisted of a lady from the DEA who was trying to explain why this was perfectly legal, but also on the panel were reps from American drug companies.
The polits were actually taking advice from these drug company jokers on what a counterfeit/legitimate drug was. Imagine the American manufacturer of ox telling the gov that TT ox was not legitimate (the unspoken reason being TT ox is several times cheaper).
This whole thing reeks of drug special interests, and maybe some of the Amer pharm comps have bought stock in CBS.
